For the topic [Contrary] Drawn from the lyrics that keep sticking in my head "Everyone is a spider pretending to be a butterfly" (SNSD - Flower Power, the song itself was catchy and addicting like hell, lol.
At first i have to say that i reaaaaally like the paintery style of this picture. The look in her eyes is intense and draws me in. The colors you used just harmonize beautyfully!
This thing, that looks like it should be a wing, what it is supposed to be? Is it some kind of cocoon made from her threads?
I wonder where the second pair of her arms is coming from, because it barely looks like it is part of her body. Does it grow from her back or her spine? I think it would be a weird spot for arms to grow But they look some kind of mechanic so are they attached to something?
Also the visible hand at her second pair of arms like a bit od. The form and position of her fingers seems to be unnatural.
Her pose looks a bit uncomfortably, because to me she looks like she is lying, but dont pushes herself up with her arms, like her upper body is floating in the air.
What bothers me most is this thing that is attached to the side of her head. Is it part of her hair? It looks weird and stiff and takes no part in the dynamics of the whole picture.
I really like the composition of this picture. The main idea of "The spider that thinks it is a butterfly" was executed just wonderfull!
Wow, I absolutely love what's going on with the colors here <3 That dull, yet intense vibe is just great. Not to mention the character is certinly interesting. Amazing~
